When you look around you these days, almost everyone is on some kind of device. It's believed that people don't worry so much if they forget to bring their wallets but would dash back home immediately if they had forgotten their phones.
It's commonplace to see iPhones/smartphones in everyone's hands; while on holidays, in the bus, on the train... pretty much everywhere. What is surprising us is seeing whole tables all on their phones during meals- whilst on holiday. Amazing! And a little sad as well. Would you not want to talk to each other about your day? Discuss plans? Laugh? Share?
Although Christoph and I do travel with a lot of gadgets, we also make a big effort to not let the tech stuff get in the way of talking to each other. You need to know when to turn things off and holidays are a great time to do just that :-)
